The story, following the video, is from the Hassidic path. Hassidism is a sect within Orthodox Judaism advocating a joyful, ecstatic spirituality through direct experience of Spirit. The Rabbi plays a central role as a transmitter of the Experience-of-Truth.

I can feel it coming
I can feel it in my bones
There’s a new way rising
‘Cus we are letting go
We all carry stories
We bury them deep
And so i’ll dig into the soil
‘Cus we are letting go

I can hear it coming
I can hear it in her song
So i’ll sing it with her
‘Cus we are letting go
I’ll walk by her side
The wind at our backs
‘Cus we are shedding, blooming
We are letting go

Oh, give it, oh give it to the wind
Oh give it to the leaving tide
Oh give it to the burning embers
‘Cus we are letting go

I can feel it coming
I see it in your eyes
There's a new way rising
‘Cus we are letting go
I’ll sing it to you with all of my soul
‘Cus we are letting go

I can feel it coming
I can feel it in my bones
There’s a new way rising
‘Cus we are letting go
I’ll walk by her side
The wind at our backs
‘Cus we are shedding, blooming
We are letting go

We are letting go

Oh give it to the wind
And give it to the leaving tide
And give it to the burning embers
‘Cus we are letting go

The Jews in a small town in Russia were eagerly awaiting the arrival of a great Hassidic Rabbi. His coming was going to be a rare event, so they spent a lot of time preparing questions to ask.

The Rabbi arrived, and the congregation met him in the town hall. He sensed the tension in the atmosphere as all prepared to listen to the answers he would give them.

The Rabbi said nothing; he just gazed into the people's eyes and hummed a melody. Soon, everyone began to hum. He started to sing, and they sang. He swayed and danced in solemn, measured steps, and they joined in. They became so involved in the dance, so absorbed in its movements, they were lost to everything else. Every person was made whole, healed of the inner fragmentation that keeps from seeing the inner Truth.

The dancing continued for almost an hour. Afterward, everyone sat in a silent peace pervading the hall. The Rabbi spoke his only words that evening: "I trust I have answered your questions." Then, he left without saying more. All went home with gladdened hearts.
